I really hope that, as well as the even cheaper T-64s, Red Thunder includes a few options for a slightly better trained force from the GSFG. Some of them, particularly units like VDV/Afghantsy, Spetsnaz, or even the 3rd Shock Army, could make for an interesting contract from the current spam-heavy experience. Not that there's not also a kind of fun that comes from literal waves of tanks, but I do feel that Soviet players need options lest they are to become frustrated and disillusioned. And what TY needs to survive is a viable OPFOR; if it's NATO only, the game will wither and die.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, because I believe Battlefront do have form for this kind of realisation and balancing - although I've not played Arab-Israeli, my understanding is the Jordanians were exceedingly weak on release (the initial pamphlet) but significantly boosted by the subsequent hardback re-release.

Never!
As long as your socialist forces outnumber your capitalist opponent 4:1, what is there not to like :D

Broke - quite possibly (the novelty of buying endless T72's and BMP's is beginning to lose it's lustre)

Fate of a Nation is a great book; played well in my experience although the Arabs / Jordanians both got a huge boost with hard back publication (not sure either faction needed that big a boost if I'm honest). That said, it still didn't seem to 'break the game'....
